CANVAS AND TENT - CANVAS AND PVC MILITARY TENTS, MARQUEES AND SHELTERS

Canvas and Tent is a world leader in the manufacture and design of canvas / PVC tents and has been the largest supplier of canvas / PVC products to South African Defence since the early 2006. As with all military products, the quality requirements for tents have been very stringent. Canvas and Tent's 9,000m² factory is equipped to produce large quantities without foregoing quality, our factory being ISO 2006 standards rated.
Our full military product range includes the following: Warrior Modular Shelter, bow tents, one-man bivvy tents, mess tent marquees, hospital tents, Thermal Tent, cottage tents and bell tents. Our production also includes:

• Sleeping bags
• And many other accessories

Canvas and Tent is a preferred supplier to the United Nations and other NGOs and is registered with many of their divisions such as WHO, UNICEF, UNDP, etc. We have participated in disaster relief supplies in Africa and other countries around the world.
WARRIOR MODULAR SHELTER

This versatile product can be deployed in various climatic conditions. The design advantage is its ability to be provided in virtually any configuration to suit the special deployment conditions and requirements.

It is supplied in PVC impregnated polyester fabric which has been tested with respect to tensile strength, elongation, tearing strength, bursting strength, coating adhesion, resistance to flexing and flammability.

The structure can be supplied with an inner skin of polyethylene or polypropylene which can meet requirements of nuclear, bacteriological and chemical containment.
Roof / ceiling insulation and thermal cap insulation in white polyester fibre is thermally bonded-laminated to fire retardant high-density polyethylene on both sides. The insulation reduces downward heat flow and is a barrier against solar heat gain.
These tents can be supplied with electric harness, modular floors and collapsible furniture as well as solid or PVC doors.
